Introduction

This page includes resources for providers to share with patients using REMICADE® (infliximab) and their family members and caregivers. Here are the types of information available on this page.



Johnson & Johnson Patient Assistance Foundation, Inc. (JJPAF). Johnson & Johnson Patient Assistance Foundation, Inc. (JJPAF) is an independent, private, nonprofit organization that assists patients who do not have financial resources or prescription drug coverage obtain free prescription products that are donated by Johnson & Johnson operating companies. These companies have a long-standing commitment to helping patients access medicines. Centocor Ortho Biotech Inc. donates medicines to JJPAF.
Patients receiving benefits under a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan are not eligible to receive assistance through JJPAF, but eligibility exceptions based on significant financial or medical need will be considered.

Alternate Sources of Support for Accessing Therapy with REMICADE. Patients could have alternate sources of support for accessing therapy with REMICADE. This document provides a list of potential sources you may want to explore for coverage for REMICADE.

RemiStart.® RemiStart® is a patient rebate program that can offer up to $550 per infusion rebate for eligible patients. Patients must be beginning or currently receiving treatment with REMICADE for an approved indication. Patients must have commercial insurance that covers medication costs for REMICADE, and have a medication out-of-pocket expense greater than $50 per infusion. The Program exhausts 12 months after first service date, $4,400, or 8 infusions, whichever comes first. For infusions 1-4, for each $600 portion of the patient's out-of-pocket costs for REMICADE, the patient is responsible for $50 and may receive a rebate of up to $550. For infusions 5-8, for each $700 portion of the patient's out-of-pocket costs for REMICADE, the patient is responsible for $150 and may receive a rebate of up to $550. RemiStart® Extended Access Program. RemiStart® Extended Access is a patient rebate program for those who have participated in the RemiStart® Program and have exhausted the program benefits. Patients must have met the eligibility requirements of the RemiStart® Program, and have a medication out-of-pocket expense greater than $150 per infusion. The Program exhausts 12 months after first service date, $4,400 or $2,200 (depending on household income), or 8 infusions, whichever comes first. For infusions 1-8, for each $700 portion of the patient's out-of-pocket costs for REMICADE, the patient is responsible for $150 and may receive a rebate of up to $550.
